DAY 01
08.30 AM: Pick up from airport or your hotel
Get picked up at 09.00 AM by our driver and tour guide from place of stay. If you are already in Delhi, we will report in your hotel to start the trip or else the driver and tour guide will see you at the airport / railway station to pick you up for the trip.
09.00 AM : Delhi sightseeing trip
Start your quick Delhi sightseeing tour with our one of the most experienced Delhi tour guide who will take you to the prominent tourist spots of Old and New Delhi including India Gate, President’s Palace, Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb.
01.30 PM : Lunch at Delhi
Have a leisurely lunch in a city restaurant in Delhi before reaching to the Delhi-Agra Express highway for a smooth 3 hours drive to the city of Taj Mahal, Agra.
03.00 PM : Stop at Raj Ghat
Pay a visit to the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi the father of the nation and a well known Ambassador of peace and non-violence for the world community.
04.00 PM : Leave to Agra
Start your drive to Agra through the newly built Delhi-Agra express way.
07.30 PM : Reach Agra
As you reach Agra, we will drive straight to your hotel where after quick and smooth check in formalities you will stay in your comfortable room to relax for the night.
DAY 02
05.30 AM : Visit Taj Mahal during Sun rise
This day brings you the most awaited moment of watching the most beautiful monument of love during the sunrise. Taj Mahal looks much beautiful during sunset or sunrise and its been a dream for the travellers to witness the spectacular monument in its full bloom during sunrise or sunset.
Early wake-up call awakes you today as you get ready to meet our guide in the lobby of your hotel to pay a visit to Taj Mahal. Do not forget to capture in your camera, the lovely memories of time spent at Taj Mahal.
From the parking, you will be taken to Taj Mahal in a Tonga (Horse Carriage) which will be one of the enjoyable moments for you. Upon reaching Taj Mahal, the tour guide will brief you about the history of Mughals and the story behind emergence of world’s most beautiful monument and then will offer you some time of your own to capture Taj Mahal in your eyes.
After visiting Taj Mahal drive back to your hotel for breakfast on your day tour to Agra and Delhi.
08.30 AM: Breakfast, sightseeing and shopping time in Agra
After breakfast drive enjoys sightseeing tour of Agra visiting Agra Fort which lies on the bank of river Yamuna. Also visit Itmad-Ud-daulah tomb which is often called as ‘Mini Taj’ by the travellers.
Having visited the most prominent monuments of Agra we will now spend some time in the local markets before taking a drive further to Fatehpur Sikri.
11.30 AM: Visit Fatehpur Sikri
The forbidden city of Fatehpur Sikri is a major attraction for travellers near Agra due to its massive structure and interesting story. It is said that Mughal’s used Fatehpur Sikri as their capital for a short time as they had to leave this city due to acute lack of water. A huge part of this fort was gifted to Khwaja Mainuddin Chishti who was the advisor and priest for the royal family. Today that part is known as Dargah of Khwaja Mainuddin Chishti and people from near and far come here to take his blessings.
The beautiful structure of Fatehpur Sikri will definitely take your attention and appreciation while you visit the different parts of the fort. The complex has many beautiful red sandstone buildings like Diwan-e-Am (House of Public Audience), Diwan-e-Khas (House of Private Audience), Jodha Bai’s Palace named after Akbar’s Rajput wife, Panch Mahal (Five Stories Summer Palace) and many more interesting monuments.
02.00 PM : Drive back to Delhi
After finishing the sightseeing we drop the guide at Fatehpur Sikri and say him bye as we start our return journey to Delhi through the traditional Agra-Delhi highway. Enjoy watching countryside and life of the locals living in small towns and villages along the highway. Lunch will be arranged in a local restaurant.
06.00 PM : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi at around 06 PM and you will be transferred to your Delhi airport or railway station for your onward journey or to your home in Delhi.
