Surrounded by numerous lakes, Nainital is situated at an altitude of 1938mts in the state of Uttarakhand and is Kumaon’s largest town and favorite hill resort. The hill station is a popular tourist place offering several places of interest for the tourists. The most popular landmark in Nainital is the Naini Lake. The Naini Lake is the identity as well as the backbone of the place. Tourists enjoy boat ride in this beautiful lake. Tallital (Lake’s Foot) is at the southeastern end of the lake. The 1.5km promenade known as the Mall Road leads to Mallital (Lake’s Head) at the northwestern end of the lake. Other must see place in Nainital is the Naina Peak which offers breath-taking views of the Nainital Valley and the snow-capped Himalayas. From Nainital one can also visit the famous Sat Tal, Bhim Tal and the Naukuchiya Tal. Saat Tal is a cluster of seven small lakes. Bhim Tal is the largest lake around Nainital. It offers water sports facilities. The Naukuchiya Tal is another place worth visiting on a India day and group tours to Nainital.

By road: Due to most touristic hill station, it is well connected by roads. Daily buses operates from Kathgodam.

By rail: Nearest railway station is Kathgodam which is at a distance of 41 kms. It is connected to all other major destinations.

By air: Nearest airport to connect the domestic flights to Nainital is Pant Nagar, which is at a distance of 72 kms. TO connect International flights Delh IGI airport is the nearest airport.
