By road: Madurai city has 5 major bus stands, from where you can get bus to most of the cities of Tamil Nadu as well as the neighbouring states. Excellent bus service at regular intervals is operated from here.

By rail: Madurai Junction (MDU) is the railway station in Madurai, well connected to other parts of the city.

By air: Madurai (IXM) has its own airport which is 10kms from the city centre. It is well connected to the other cities
