This beautiful Blue City of Rajasthan – Jodhpur, has been a popular tourist destination in the circuit. Jodhpur city has grown around the fort, and this muscular fort occupies a 150m hill. The views from the fort are outstanding and worth all the efforts. When around this place, opt for a tour of the Chokelao Gardens within the fort. The new city of Jodhpur spreads beyond the fort and both, the old & new, have very good options of hotels, guesthouses, eating hubs, shopping zones etc. Travelers prefer visiting the pace during Gangaur or the Rajasthan International Folk Festival, to enjoy the cultural vibrancy of the place.

How to visit:

By road: One can conveniently take a bus or hire a cab, state, public and private transport faacilioty is easily available. The main highway between Jodhpur and Jaisalmer is via Agoli and Pokaran and is well connected with Jodhpur, Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Delhi, Jaipur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur.

By rail: Jodhpur Junction (JU) is well connected to the other major cities. Also, the luxury train palace on wheels also visits the city.

By air: Jodhpur airport (JDH) is well connected to the major cities around it and at a distance of 5kms from the city center. Direct and regular flights are operated to Jodhpur.
