By road: Allahabad is well connected to the major cities by good road. Both Uttar Pradesh State Transport Corporation as well as Private travel operators provides buses and private vehicles.

By rail: Allahabad Junction (ALD) is the major train station, well connected to the rest of the cities.

By air: The nearest airport to reach Allahabad is Bamrauli at a distance of 10 kms, however, with very limited flights. The other nearest airport is Varanasi, at a distance of 150 kms.
