Day 01 : Arrive - Delhi

Arrive the capital city of Delhi. After warm welcome at the airport by the represented of Max Holidays India you will be transferred to your hotel for relaxed stay.

Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing

A full day combined sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi awaits today. You will be picked from your hotel lobby by our guide and driver who will take you first to the most fascinating places around the old part of Delhi city. Visit Raj Ghat and Jama Masjid (mosque) and ride on a man driven rickshaw in the busy and colourful streets of Chandni Chowk (also known as the ‘silver street’). The sightseeing trip of New Delhi follows with a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, Safdarjang Tomb, Qutab Minar and Lotus Temple. A drive through India Gate (The war memorial), President’s Palace and diplomatic area is assential part to witness the grandeur of this cosmopolitan city.

In the evening you will be taken back to your hotel for a comfortable night stay.

Day 03 : Delhi – Agra

Agra the city of world famous Taj Mahal lies about 200 kms south-east of Delhi and is easily accessible through the traditional route or via the newly build ‘Express Highway’ which offers a smooth and quicker drive from Delhi to Agra, Following breakfast in our hotel at Delhi, we will drive to Agra. Enjoy the beautiful countryside and reach Agra in the afternoon. Upon arrival check into your hotel.

Remarks : One can also experience a superfast tourist train train ride on Delhi-Agra route. The train starts early in the morning from Delhi to reach Agra in about 90 minutes.

After wash and change, we will visit the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566.

After Agra Fort, the monument that is most important in Agra is the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah or "Baby Taj" as it is called sometimes. A highly ornate edifice, this mausoleum is considered as the imminent precursor of the Taj Mahal as far as elaborate carvings and inlay work are concerned. You can visit Taj Mahal this evening during Sunset or can enjoy a leisurely visit next morning during the sunrise.

Day 04 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur

If you have not visited Taj Mahal last evening then get up early to have a wonderful view of this most amazing structure during sunrise. Reminding us the stories of the eternal love Taj Mahal stands tall near the bank of river Jamuna. This masterpiece was build by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in the sweet memories of his wife who died while giving birth to his 14th child.

Go back to your hotel, have breakfast and pack your luggage as today we are moving to our next destination in our golden Triangle tour. Our next destination is jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan which is also known to travellers as ‘Pink City’ due to its pink coloured houses, monuments, building and walls you can see all around the city.

While we head to Jaipur, 30 kms on Agra-Jaipur highway we stop at Fatehpur Sikri to pay a visit. Fatehpur Sikri is another beautifully designed masterpiece of Mughal architecture which served them as a capital for a short time as they moved to Agra due to acute shortage of water in this area. Explore the fort of Fatehpur and also dargah of Khwaja Mainuddin Chishti.

Continue drive to Jaipur. Reach Jaipur in the afternoon and check into your hotel.

This evening you will witness live classical Rajasthani Dance show while enjoying mouth watering local cuisine in a city restaurant.

Remarks : One can also select to visit the famou village style restaurant of Chokhi Dhani which lies about 15 kms out of Jaipur city (village entry ticket to be paid by the guest). At Chokhi Dhani you can enjoy many village games, magic show, camel ride and local Rajasthani dances. It is to be noted that at Chokhi Dhani you will be served with typical Rajasthani food which can be little spicy. The sitting arrangement will be on the floor in open air restaurant and you should use your fingers only to eat your food (no spoons). The restaurant has also made alternate arrangemens in a hall to sit on a dining table to have your food. Choice is yours.

Day 05 : Jaipur sightseeing

The day starts with an excursion to Amer Fort. Amer was the ancient capital of Jaipur. It is situated atop the Aravalli hills overlooking the city. Ascend the fort on elephant's back, like a king.

Later visit Jaigarh fort where you can see the world's largest canon displayed. In the afternoon visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), Jantar Mantar Observatory and City Palace museum which covers a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings. A part of this palace is a now a museum, containing three wings of Armory, Textiles and Artifacts.

Evening is at leisure to explore the local vicinity at your own. Jaipur offers the world famous handicrafts, silver and gold jewellery, precious and semi-precious stones, beads and jewellery, blue pottery products, carpets and textiles which are the most preferred ethnic items by visitors.

Day 06 : Jaipur - Delhi

After a relaxed breakfast, we will drive to Delhi.

Upon arrival in Delhi, check in hotel and rest of the day free for shopping. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07 : Delhi – Departure

Today you will be driven to Delhi International airport, carry the sweet memories of India.
